The Museum houses hundreds of thousands of items, from correspondence and news stories to Bigfoot casts, film and TV props, exhibits on famous cryptids and cases, and cryptid sculptures and models. This repository makes the nonprofit Museum valuable not only to cryptozoologists but to zoologists (there is plenty on confirmed animals, too), folklorists, natural historians, and students. There is, of course, also a store, where you can buy books including some of mine. My friend Loren and I don't always agree on the likelihood of particular cryptids, but he's sincere (and VERY dedicated and doing a great service even if you think cryptozoology is not a meaningful scientific endeavor. The ICM is open every day at 490 Broadway.
